What We Do

Children Education, Health and Safety

Introduction
Aeren foundation believes that there are many problems faced such healthcare, poverty, population control, unemployment or human rights, but the only weapon to fight against this entire problem is through Education.

Over the past few decades, learning has become a more complex activity, both because of the new demands placed on children's by technological and cultural developments and because of the increasing deterioration of learning relations. These factors have had an impact on the quality of education, and on children's learning conditions.

School health and safety covers a wide range of issues, and they are often inter-related, depending on the situation of the education system in each country, below are a few examples:

Infrastructure and Facilities provide to children:

  • Safe drinking water and proper sanitation facilities in schools
  • Neat and Clean classroom.
  • Well qualified Staff for teaching.
  • Provide children's with text-books, writing pads, etc.

Medical Check-up:

The Aeren Health program has a preventive and curative side.

  • On the preventive side, children are given an awareness of illnesses through the empowerment program and parents meetings each month are used to discuss important health messages.
  • On the curative side, medical problems are identified directly in class and follow ups are done by Aeren teachers and social workers. In addition, medical check-ups are conducted every six months and treatment for all Aeren children is provided.
  • Teacher psychology test.
  • Children Body Checkup on Regular Intervals.

Aeren's concern for the health and safety of teachers and education workers stems from two reasons. Firstly, there is a need to protect teachers' basic personal and labor rights as well as children's right to learn; secondly, if we wish to provide quality education for all, we need teachers who are fit and fully available to do their job in adequate conditions.

Extra Curriculum Activity:

  • Daily Exercise for 1hour for keeping children's physically fit and fine.
  • Twice in a week there is Drawing sessions, Handy-Craft sessions for making them creative.
  • Karate Classes for both girls and boys.
  • Regularly children's are made to play indoor as well as outdoor games.
  • Every 6 months there is competition and Award ceremony.
  • Celebration of each and every festivals.
