Scholarships
Concerned over the increasing drop-out rate among girl students in the state, Aeren Foundation, a NGO, has decided to offer scholarships to the deserving ones to help them complete their education.
We have started a series of programs through which we would identify the students, who would initially receive scholarship for a year.
To begin with started the process by supporting bright students and initially we support only 10 deserving candidates, and later the number went on increasing to 120. According to our research more than 70 per cent were intelligent and were compelled by economic constraints to give up studies. “Many of them are forced to work as domestic helps.
Scholarship for Older Children's:
Aeren Foundation observed that a large number of older children were forced to stay at home to look after their younger siblings or in some cases; younger children accompanied their parents and older siblings to work, rather than going to school. Further analysis also revealed the direct impact of early childhood care and education on the schooling opportunities of children, especially from socially disadvantaged communities.
Scholarship for Higher Education:
Aeren Foundation announces (no. u enter) Scholarship for underprivileged and orphan students. As address various socio-economic problems of India and its people. Social uplift is highly dependent on the education and literacy level of the people. And no society can move forward without empowering quality education.
Professional higher education is very crucial; it equips the children's with career competencies, leading to secure remunerative placement in industry and apt place in the society.
There is thus a great need to provide quality degree programs to orphaned students, and that too in a variety of fields viz. hospitality, fashion, media, management, arts, engineering etc.
This create the process to embrace these children into mainstream in a sustained manner, facilitate them to emerge as productive assets, and set the foundation for nation building.
